A delightful home that is located in the main street of Lightning Ridge.

 

This holiday house has a sense of great energy; peaceful and calm.

A roomy home with lovely kitchen, two bedrooms, clean and modern bathroom and two verandahs - front and back of the house.

The inner sanctuary of the home was built in 1910 being the historical police lockup. The old thick cedar wood floorboards remain. Typical of many of the buildings in Lightning Ridge, the extra rooms have been added on - the verandahs, kitchen and bathroom. A little quirky but very functional.

There are great views from the front verandah and the back verandah offers garden views. In summer the house invites cross breezes keeping the house cool and in winter it is warm and cosy.

The lounge is spacious with sliding doors opening onto the front verandah and is very comfortable with a large L shaped 7 seater leather lounge.

The kitchen is fully equiped with modern ovens, Bosche digital stove top, etc and the home is air-conditioned.

30 Morilla is a perfect place to stay whilst exploring Lightning Ridge and surroundings.

 

The street is very quiet in the evenings.
